How to create a Viber chatbot

Create a Viber bot with a token from Viber Partners, then connect it to Edmund Ng for automated messaging.

Viber chatbots let brands chat with users inside Viber. With Edmund Ng, you can centralize Viber alongside your other channels.

Create the bot (Viber)

  1. Open the Viber Admin Panel / Partners flow for creating bots (interface may update—use Viber’s current onboarding).
  2. Register your bot name, URI, and category.
  3. Obtain the authentication token for your bot—this is what Edmund Ng needs to call Viber APIs.

Connect in Edmund Ng

  1. Log in to Edmund Ng.
  2. Add Viber as a channel and paste the bot token.
  3. Finish webhook setup if prompted (use the URL and secret Edmund Ng displays).
  4. Message your bot from Viber and verify events arrive in Edmund Ng.
