How to add webchat to your website

Embed Edmund Ng webchat on your site so visitors can talk to your chatbot without leaving your domain.

Updated 1 min read

Webchat lets you run a Edmund Ng chat widget on your own website—independent of Messenger, WhatsApp, or other platforms.

Get the embed code

  1. Log in to Edmund Ng.
  2. Open Webchat (or channel setup) and copy the embed snippet for your workspace.
  3. Decide which pages should load the widget (sitewide vs. selected URLs).

Add to HTML

Paste the snippet before the closing </body> tag on each template that should show chat, for example:

<!-- Replace with your workspace snippet from Edmund Ng -->
<script src="https://edmundng.com/…" async></script>

Exact URLs and attributes are shown in your dashboard—do not guess the script URL.

Placement tips

  • Avoid loading the script twice on the same page (double bubbles).
  • If you use a tag manager, fire the tag on DOM ready on allowed routes only.
  • Match branding (colors, language) in the Edmund Ng widget settings if available.
